December is always a busy month for everybody and we were not the exception.
We had something to do every weekend and some weekdays too, here is a picture of one of our last parties of the year. We got together at Marcos and Cristina's house for a "parrillada" hmmm delicious food and great company!

I started for the first time showing my photographs for sale and I was very pleased when I sold some at a charity bazaar and a Christmas brunch. I got really nice comments on the pictures and hopefully will be something that I can keep doing next year. I have people who wants me to take family portraits and sell them more of the pictures from Mexico. So with all this, I created a website - always a work in progress - you can go to www.digimemories.info to check it out and please give me your opinion. It is a basic one that I hope to improve with the time.
I also got more involved with the newcomers association that I belong since I moved to Monterrey, it has been great to go to the meetings, the bazaars and especially the day we went with Tomas to their charity event at Casa Hogar Douglas to celebrate a Christmas lunch with about 70 kids. It was fun and now we are going back this Saturday for a bonefire with some of the kids who will stay there for the holidays.
Casa Hogar Douglas is a place where parents can leave their kids to be raised and educated if they cannot do it on their own. They don't loose their parents rights and the kids can go and visit them over weekends or holidays. But is a great place for them to grow up in a family environment.
Here is a link of the Christmas lunch, you can look see it in youtube. Check out Tomas playing with a kid and his new kite. The kid wouldn't stop asking Tomas to help him to make it fly. It was great!

We also enjoyed Celine Dion in concert, she has an amazing voice and the show was really good.
Next? 2009 Elton John...let's keep them coming. (Our baby will be either a rock star or a flight hostess between all the concerts and trips...)
Now we are just counting the days for our holidays "mini" vacation. We are driving next week to San Antonio and will be visiting Sea World, El Alamo, Riverwalk and all that area. Will be a short trip but we are looking forward to spend our first holidays ever together!
And we will say good bye to this amazing 2008 with our friends with a great dinner, drinks and hopefully fireworks...
