Next morning, the first of the year it was time to work for mom and dad to be. We started preparing the room for Adriana, we had a lot of fun painting the room. Next on the list, the crib, changer and decorations for the room. We should have that or some of that by February.

Adriana is now 24 weeks and keeps growing and kicking everyday. Today we visited the doctor for another "movie". It was fun as usual, and of course, she had her hands either on her chicks or up like all the time. This time we saw her "talking" to us, or at least moving her mouth a lot.
The picture shows her face - it is two picture of the same, the "holes" on the right side are her eyes...not too photogenic yet...
Here is a video, on the right side is the head and the blinking area on the left is the heart moving, the white strip on that side is her spine. At one point you may be able to see her hand movie - really fast.
I gained 1 1/2 kilograms since the last visit a month ago. Since Adriana is doing well on size and weight, it means she is "sucking me up" big time. Which is good...at least for mom :)
Now her heart beat is at 136 - normal for her time and weights about 1.4 pounds. Everything is average on her growth.
I may have to start getting some ensure or more vitamins if I don't start gaining more weight until next visit, so will see...
Tomorrow I will do the a test for the gestational diabetes - please cross fingers for me to not have it. Don't want to be put on diet!!!
And Thursday will be time for a 4D movie!!! We are getting the new ultrasound where we can see Adriana more "human" looking. We are looking forward for this day and check her out in another way.
I will post pictures, videos, comments and all that on Thursday afternoon.
