Taking Adri home

This weekend was a big one for us, we left Miami to start driving/flying back home with Adri. Tomas left about two weeks ago and returned to Miami just to pick up the “room” and drive to meet us half way. He left Friday morning and arrived before us due to weather issues at the airport in Miami.

Adri and I left about an hour late because of super heavy rain – see scary picture.

Her first time flying was great; she didn’t even blink or cry. I think she is ready to keep getting those miles and become a world traveler from now.

After spending the night in Houston, Tomas got his “ladies” ready and started to drive Sunday morning. We made it in pretty good time to the border and met with Cristina and Marcos, the first ones to meet her. The meeting point? The cafeteria at Target!!! Oh well, what else she needs to know from that city than where the shopping stores are.

Leaving Miami wasn’t that fun, saying good bye to everybody was rough, but the good thing is that we can always go back to be pampered by everybody.

Now will see how we adjust to our new life and what other stories are going to come along. Let’s enjoy life!!!
