Adri in June

This week a new month started and she turned 7 weeks or I should say she is turning 7 weeks now. I don't know how much she is weighting but for sure more than 5 kilograms...my arms can feel it since I was never able to hold more than that at the gym.

She is doing great and changing a bit per day for better, she looks stronger and less like a delicate newborn.

The weekend was pretty busy for these new parents and their baby.

On Friday it was parents' time and we had a nanny coming to take care of her while we went out to the movies - Angels and Demons. It was great and Adri behaved pretty good, now we know we can do this here and there to have our "date" nights.

Saturday we had our first party with her and we did great. David and Sandra's son had his first comunion and we went to church to celebrate with him and then to their house for an awesome party. Adriana surprised our friends for staying so quiet and relax the whole time, she only woke up for feeding of course. The music (latin music) was playing the entire time and she didn't even blink. GOOD JOB ADRI!!!

Sunday Tomas took us for deliciuos lunch to one of the best restaurants for meat here, it was SO YUMMY!!!! We enjoyed a nice afternoon with Marcos, Cristina and Ligia. I can't wait to go there again.

Daddy went away for the first time since we came back from Miami and Adri has been good about it, she is eating and sleeping on her times and the past two nights she only woke up once during the night. I was so happy about it.
Today it was so weird, I got up to her room because in my head she was crying - it was already 4 and a half hours since the last feeding....to my surprise she was sleeping so good that I think I was just dreaming or my "mom gene" kicked at that moment. Of course then she probably smelled me (or the milk) and woke up ready to eat.

Today was also her first "board meeting" with my friends. Since our husbands are always talking about their meetings, we decided to have our meetings once a week and we did it every week last year until Cristina left to Brazil. It has been a while since our past one so we decided to go to our "point" for crepes and good chat. Adri behaved pretty good and even had lunch with us.

Here are some pictures from the last few days and a couple of videos from today.
