Adri turns 6 months today and we turn also 6 months of being parents. Pretty good so far, enjoying every day and every new thing she comes up with. By now she can do many fun stuff and be super cute when she smiles at you, you and you…she loves the attention so if you smile at her most likely she will do it back to you – unless of course she is hungry or sleepy.
Next Tuesday we will take her to the doctor for vaccination and check up, also to get advice from the doctor as how to start the feeding process. And then, the following Saturday, together with daddy will start eating vegetables (Still thinking about which one to give her first). I read that the least tasty would be the best; she has no clue so if she does ok with that one the rest should be easier. I really hope she has the same taste as daddy – that can eat anything you put in the table.
Now, the best part as a proud parent, to show off what your baby can do by 6 months…
- She can turn to both sides and get back to her stomach or back without problems.
- She does the baby talk all the time and is so funny to listen to her get back to you.
- She likes people and doesn’t cry with anybody, finally not crying when we leave her at the gym nursery.
- She is grabbing objects close to her without any problems, her favorites? The blackberry and the remote control…of course.
- She lifts her head all the time when she is in her back, and if you help her she takes your hands and sits with a big smile.
- Follows objects moving around – loves to stare at the window looking at the cars passing by.
- She enjoys watching tv.
- If mom calls her she turns towards that voice.
