16 months

Adriana turns 16 months today, healthy, happy and fun as always. Now we go out everyday – mornings and afternoons! She likes so much to go out that now I only have to say “Vamos” (Let’s go) for her to run to the door, ask to open it and then go to the elevator, press the light and wave good bye…so cute to see her waving good bye and giggle as she walks into the elevator.

We have been going to the pool twice a week with her friends from baby gym and they all love the water, you can see their faces of happiness once they arrive to the pool. She now can put her head inside the water and take less water per time.

She is playing and interacting more than ever, learning by the minute little things. She enjoys a lot dancing, watching her baby tv and playing with mom and dad.

Adriana has a fun little routine with do with some people – people she knows or sees enough to remember them – I haven’t been able to tape it yet but I will try soon. It goes like this

“Adri! High five, Kiss, and ojitos – so she does one by one and with ojitos, I mean blink eyes twice or more…At the gym she does it to the towel lady…but to this we add that she brings the member card to give it to her and then she gets the keys and towel. The lady over day loves to see her.

She seems to understand Czech a little bit more; Tomas speaks to her all the time in Czech and asks her to do things like “put the toys in a box”, “let’s go to bath”, “let’s go” and more.
