18 months and becoming non stop talker!

Adri turned a year and a half today and by now she seems to have adapted to her new home. She no longer cries at the Little Mole or with her Deda and Babi. Yesterday she spent the entire day with them, went out to visit relatives, had lunch and nap at their home, went to playground and more. It was a great time for the 3 of them. I am sure they all were super tired by the end of the day.

She is now learning a third language and seems to understand them all pretty good. She understands me perfectly in Spanish, her Czech with the Czech family and English at school. It is amazing to see this happening only in a couple of weeks. She is also starting to say more words or try to repeat everything you ask her to say. Some Czech words are coming to her more easy, maybe because of Babi helping out with that. She is following the English songs from school pretty good and with me, she just goes along with all our conversations. It is a lot of fun to hear her trying to talk back to you and to start imitating animals. Looks like her favorite is the cow because is the only one she knows how to imitate!

She stills eat pretty good and is trying new food at school. Loves Loves Loves tomatoes and her new favorite snack is babybell, she can eat as many as you can give her. Also she is starting to feed herself with some mess here and then but trying really hard.

At home, she knows now where everything is - her room - bathroom - toys, etc. She is doing pretty good going up and down the stairs and since yesterday night she went back to sleeping alone in her room. Cried a couple of times but at the end slept there alone until 7am.

Still need to find her a pediatrician that follows American vaccines and all that, she needs to have some now so I hope by the end of the month she can get them.

The weather is starting to change and getting colder, last week we got a bit wet waiting for the tram after swimming class. It was ok but we need to get ready for what is coming. -1 C in the mornings to go to school is not that much fun, good thing we are a couple of blocks away.

Today Martin and family came to visit, Adri had a great time playing with Tomas Jr. We (including me) had a blast jumping and smashing each other in the bed - Tomas, Adri and mom were playing very good there! They had such a good time that Tomas wanted to take her to his home when they were leaving. He took her hand and walked her to the elevator! So sweet!!!! I guess he is getting ready for his little brother Filip to be born at the end of the month.

Swimming classes are very good for her and she seems to enjoy. Last Friday she learned how to hold herself from the wall of the pool, it was great to see her doing it. She is also good with water in her face and all that. But hates the floaters, really hates them! I hope to continue with the classes after the holidays and that next year she can float on her own or go underneath the water....A couple a weeks ago we met a new baby boy in the pool - he happened to be the baby of a US actress filming Mission Impossible in Prague, it was funny because I had no idea who was she and we just started to talk and later I found out she was or will be more famous with the movie. So now Adri is meeting famous people too! It was very funny!

Her classes at Andilek for baby gym are also pretty good, she is always doing all the exercises and having fun, and loving the extra attention she gets when she does all they ask her to do. Teresa, the instructor calls her "the little passionate latin girl" or something like that.
