Today Adri turns 20 months and is going on her second time sick on her whole life. This time we got to stay at home for the week because of high fever on Sunday. But the weird part is that she only had fever until Tuesday and nothing else...except being really tired that has been sleeping two naps a day. Maybe is the big tooth coming out or maybe she still fighting the virus...who knows. Still is nice to be able to have her taking naps on top of me like when she was little tiny baby.
Besides that, everything is great with her as usual. She keeps learning new words almost everyday. Now she says "mono" for monkey and even puts her arm on her chest to imitate a monkey noise. She also said a small sentence last weekend "mami go" for telling me to go with her. It was clear and she has used it a couple of other times. She says "Gracias (Thanks), "Galleta" (cookie) and "Cis" (one of her little friends from L.M.)
Babi and Deda taught her how to say prosim with her hands (prosim - please) so she puts her hands together to ask "please".
She is also getting good on putting and taking her clothes off and with shoes she is learning how to take them out.
Adri and Kerian, her friend from school are so cute together, specially when he comes to kiss her on the lips and she first pushed him out. Then, after he is back, she puts her hands to call him and points her finger to her lips for a kiss...and he goes and kisses her again. They kiss on the lips for a couple of seconds and wave good bye! I still have to get this in video because is sooooo cute!
She had a school show last week while being a little sick, so we still went, got dressed up and sang and clap a little only when she was on my lap. It was very nice and all moms got a litle present from the kids. I got a picture of Adri with angel wings made of her hands.
Next week will be her last week of the year at Little Mole until 2011. We are so happy she gets to go there every day. She is learning so many new things, songs that she knows pretty good and some times she tries to sing - like row row your boat with moving arms and everything. She learned how to eat on her own, and stop pushing kids around. It is a great place for the kids to interact and play. Palicka, her teacher is a sweet and super nice lady and you can see Adri likes her a lot and obeys her better than mom.
