Trip to Lima and Miami

Right after Adri turned two (day after) we - ladies only - went on vacation to visit abuelitos, tio Fer & family and on the way back we stopped for a short weekend in Miami.

Flying alone with Adri now being a toddler is relatively easy when is a short flight but this time, it was going to be a looong way. Fly to Amsterdam and then to Miami, spend a night to catch the next day flight to Lima. I just couldn't believe how well she did, including the longest flight of 10 hours to Miami. Arriving at her 2am she managed to walk all the way from the last gate to immigration, get suitcases and make ti to Monica's in "one piece" after dinner and loosing the shy girl in her, she just played and played with Monica's kids and went to bed pretty happy. Change of time there was pretty easy going too. Slept that night at 10pm and woke up next day at 8am. During the trip the only change on sleeping was that she took naps two hours later than home but still managed to go bed around 9pm.

She asked for Tato once in the middle of the night and then for Shadow (THE DOG!) another time...!!!

Getting to Lima was great, early in the morning while still dark but she recognized ABUI FER from the entrance. And the time there was just perfect. Never again called my mom "abui" just ZORI! Even now she calls her only Zori.
Adri got to meet Fernanda - newly born Fernando's baby girl right the same morning we arrived. And enjoy lunch and dinners in a different place everyday, trying lots of new meals and drinks (like maracuya, chicha, etc).
Abui Zori prepared for her a table full with her favorite crafts. Every day in the evenings was crafts time seating with "Zori" and Abui Fer to paint, do playdoh, stickers and all that. She also got into singing with Zori and even now, when you ask her "where are you going" she will answer "AL CLUB!" (my mom took her to the playground at their local club every morning).

Her first haircut went pretty smooth, I was waiting for the screaming and no no nos but didn't happened. Instead she sat in a pink car but then wanted the green jeep and let the lady cut the hair fast and without problems. I am happy that the curs at the end stayed with her "look"

We also celebrated Zori's birthday. Adri got gifts and a card for her. We all went to a nice Peruvian food restaurant to celebrate together.

Miami was also great but too short so we didn't have any time (or car seat) to visit friends. Sorry about this, but we now must go again!. We stayed with Monica and family having a great time. Adri played non stop, and enjoyed being pampered by Sebas, Mica and Mariana. The highlight of the trip in Miami for Adri was to go on the boat. Sunday morning I woke her up saying "get ready we are going on the boat"....I was laughing so hard when she immediately got up, started taking her clothes and saying "Cambia Cambia, Adri's bote!" (Change me change, Adri's bote)!!! From then, when you ask her who own the boat the clear answers is ADRI'S

It was such a great vacation that Adri cannot wait to be back in both, Lima and Miami.

Here are the too many pictures (and I already deleted more than a 100)....
