We had a two day holiday this week and Tomas took us on an amazing driving trip to the South of Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. We saw so many beautiful places, the country side in Germany was amazing and so "rich" but the castles were the icing on the cake.
We left on Saturday morning and stop by the weekend house to pick up Adri who spent a couple of nights with her Babi and Deda. She (or I have stay to say THEY) spent a great time together. Playing non stop, watching cartoons, eating non stop and in general having a great one on one with her grandparents.
That day we drove to Hluboka Castle and the to Cesky Krumlov. The two places were so beautiful and full of things to do for us. Adri walked all day. She climbed the stairs into the main tower at Hluboka and enjoy the walk in the town of Cesky Krumlov.
Next day we went to Salzburg in Austria but the weather was so crappy we only went for a walk into a famous chocolate cafe for dessert and then had to run back to the hotel to avoid the rain. Adri was so tired that passed out by 8:30pm!
The end of our trip was about 3kms from Fussen in Germany. We visited the Neuschwanstein Castle. This amazing fairly tale place was built a couple of hundred years ago. We took the bus to the top hill to a bridge to see the Castle from above. Perfect view!!!! then we walk to the castle and took the inside tour. After that we went for dinner to Fussen.
It was a great holiday trip, we all had fun, ate good and enjoy Adri and her singing non stop, talking a lot! and just making us laugh. She still travels pretty good and sleeps lots in the car. But when she is not sleeping she just sings or talks with us.
Looking forward for more trips ahead!
