Adri's Bicycle

For months she asked for a motorka, being the only kid at school without one wasn't easy for her, but she survived! So now that she grew out of the age for a motorka, we decided it was time for something bigger. Lucky enough, Tomas Jr. also grew up of his training bike and Adri inherited happily.

It has been less than a week but this toy made Adriana the happiest girl on earth! Thanks Martin, Alena and Tomas!

Since day one, last Saturday, she goes everywhere with the bike. At first it looks a little too high for her but seems that is better since she is learning how to balance so fast that the day we took her to Myslin she was going up and down like nothing. Didn't mind if she fell, she was happy to be able to get up on her own and even will scream "Adri fell, Adri fell" and kept going.

The first day she rode to school with Mami and Tata all she kept saying is "I have to show Palika" and she did, she entered school like in a show, "parked" right infront of Palika's door and asked Mami to knock the door. Palika came out and Adri was all over her telling her "Look Palika, I got a bicycle" "Look Palika". And she has told EVERYBODY "Look, I got a bicycle".

It is so much easier to go to school and all I have to say is "Do you want to ride the bike to..." and we are getting ready to go. She even goes on the bike to visit her friend Daniel thru the parking lot.

You can see how happy she is with the bike, she even likes me to take pictures of her with the bike.

And she is riding it like a pro by now!

The day she got the bike, went to get Palachinkas for dinner, almost 1km both ways.

Going to school to show Palika her bike

Mastering going up and down in Myslin

Going to see Daniel

Adri, please show me your bike...And she did (in style!)
