Leaving behind 2008

This was without doubt a great year for us. We started our marriage in one country and moved to another one after a couple of months of being married.
2008 started with many new people in our life that now are more than friends for us.

We finally got our apartment together and ready to receive our friends and family whenever they are ready to visit us.

We got married (Again!) - actually, we had our church wedding and it was a great time from the planning to the actual weekend where we had about 30 people coming from out of town. A great time to get together and make everybody get to know each other. About 13 different nationalities and they all managed to party and celebrate with us.

Another accomplishment this year was to go to Peru with our friends from the US and walk for 4 days in the Peruvian mountains to Machu Picchu. The Inca Trail was an amazing experience and the company of our friends made it unforgettable. We drove my parents crazy invading them for about a week - 8 guests speaking English, Czech and trying at their best Spanish. It was awesome!!!

And then to continue with the highlights we found out on August 21st Adriana was on her way. It was a great surprise and we cannot wait to have her with us. The first months were not exactly fun but now it is more exciting as she is kicking and growing. Every time we visit the doctor is like going to the movies - the best movie ever. Where we can see her moving around or just leaving her arms on the top of her head.

Many other things happened in between all that, a lot of traveling for us this year, Peru and Czech Republic, Mexico and its beautiful beaches on both coasts and many other places.

We are looking forward for 2009 !!!
