March in Florida

We made it to Miami, Florida in exactly 4 days of loooong driving hours for Tomas. The last day we decided to stop in Downtown Disney. Since we didn't have energy to go to any shows the night before, we figure let's at least get the "feeling" of Disneyworld at the Downtown Disney (No entrance fee no parking fee). It was nice but also really hot so we just walked around, got some gifts for the kids and left.
Tomas got an idea of all the stuff they have for little girls - it will be expensive the day we decide to visit Disney with Adriana. But will wait longer for that so we can start saving from now. In the meantime, when she starts asking to go there we have a picture to show her that she was already there (in my belly!!!).

We were super tired on Tuesday when we arrived to Monica's house, we had dinner with them and Fer and Desi, chat and then sleepy time. The rest of that week I was feeling more tired than ever. Maybe because of the extra energy we put in the traveling part or maybe because I just needed to sleep non-stop.
We went to the doctor on Friday, and I didn't post anything because there was NOTHING to post. You go here for the doctor to measure your weight, pressure and belly. That was it! No ultrasound, no questions and of course a huge bill to pay in two months... So then we tried to check out the maternity but it wasn't a good day for people to be nice so that didn't work either... At the end we realized we are going to need extra patience for everything and just try to go with the flow. On top of everything the hospital is under renovation so there is some extra walking and extra elevators involved in the way to the maternity area.

The weekend went by really fast, sleeping most of the time and trying to recover energy for the following days. Tomas was also super tired - I can imagine after the stress of the driving and the trip itself. Also he had to travel this week to Panama and then go back home for a month.
Yesterday I had an ultrasound - we are already in week 34 - it went ok, nothing new except that Adriana is now 2.6 kgs (about 500 grams more than on March 3). The guy who did the ultrasound pointed out the long legs and big cheeks - oh well! I was able to see the heart, umbilical cord and as usual with her arms up by her face. She is still with her butt down and head up. This girl better start moving soon otherwise mom will have to get a c-section. He also mentioned she is about 2 weeks bigger so we hope for her to come earlier too.

Tomorrow I will see the doctor again. From now on I have to go every week until we are ready to receive Adriana.

This week Mariana is on vacation so I am "practicing" for the future :) For 3 mornings she stays with me. The first day we took Tomas to the airport and the rest of the day she had to stay with me...all I have to say is poor Mariana! Today it has been better, I got this preschool basic book for a project I am working on for Adriana and it was perfect also for Mariana. We have been working on that the entire morning :) She is happy - not bored and I can update the blog. It is amazing what 5 years old can do!

I included some pictures of our last week:

Our best friend during the driving - thanks to "her" we found our way and places to stop like gas stations, restaurants and starbucks!

When Adriana asks to go to Disney will show her that she was already there - at 8 months!

Tomas learning about Lego world
Total of kilometers Tomas drove in 4 days

Tomas in training!

Adriana's latest picture - 34 weeks - 2.6 kgs

To end this post - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MONICA!!!
