And April arrived in the blink of an eye...

Week 36 and almost there. This month just started and I have the feeling that it won't be that long until we get to see Adriana in person. I am due on April 28 but I am sure she doesn't agree with this due date.

My last appointments have been good. Normal blood pressure, normal weight - today I am at 156, normal everything except for the little tiny issue that she is with her head up and seating down... Which means that her last chance to move is coming close.

Next Thursday we have an ultrasound to see if she moved or not and from there most likely will be scheduling a c-section. At the end I am not worried about it, just waiting to see what happens. In one way we want her to come out soon and this may help us with that, also we can have a certain date and we kind of like that.

We try not to think on the pros or cons of the c-section or regular delivery because there is no way to know what would be the best for me since I have never been thru anything like this before . What is good if that if she is seating, the best for her would be the c-section, so will have to deal with that. Hopefully I won't be too much of a pain for Tomas after my possible first time surgery in life.

These past weeks in Miami have been pretty good. Not at my best on energy level but I tried to keep myself active in between the "napito" times.

I visited for the first time the Miami Metro Zoo - lived here for about 8 years and never went there before. I loved it, maybe because I didn't have to walk or because it was an amazing day with all the breeze and nice sunshine. I rented one of those electric wheelchairs and I was in my glory driving around and taking lots of pictures. Very relaxing and got a lot of pictures to decorate the kids rooms and to add to my collection of pictures.

I was also able to go to one of my favorite events in this city - the Sony Ericsson Open - Thanks to Ludek and his friend for offering the tickets and taking me there. I enjoyed it so much!!! Didn't care too much about the walking up and down or the rain. I was able to see Roddick and then Federer.

I have pictures to show of course! Here is the link with both main events during my past weeks.

We had a lot of bbq's going on at Monica's house, enjoying chorizo argentino and costillitas Vichy style hmmm. They were also good opportunities to get together with Fer and Desiree.

I am getting bigger by the day I think, but still moving around almost normal. Except that now I really get to know every public restroom in this city - some places even twice in the same visit!!!
Adriana is also moving non-stop and is funny to see a bump on my right side when she moves her head that way.

We went to the pool a couple of days ago and it was great - of course after a few minutes of dealing with the super cold water, I enjoyed it so much that I am thinking about going back tomorrow.

Monica's kids cannot wait to meet Adriana. Sebas is the best looking after her and talking to her when he can. Adriana told everybody at her school that Tati is having ababy girl. It is amazing to see the kids and get their comments and ideas about a new baby around them. I think they will be really happy to meet her.

I am enjoying as much as I can all the great food from Orli, and the Peruvian and Cuban places around here. Nothing like a lomo saltado or arroz con maduros to make this mom to be happy.

Another great news is that Fer is a US Resident now, him and Desiree had their interview last week and everything went fine. Congratulations to them!!!

Family from Peru and Czech Republic will be coming in the next weeks. Another year that we make everybody get together ;) good planning, no? First the wedding in 07, then the church ceremony in 08 and now Adriana's arrival in 09. Who knows what excuse will come out with for 2010...

Next post will be after my ultrasound or maybe after I talk to my doctor and find out what would be the next step.
