tatiana & tomas family: Adri's first day at kinder

We found an English speaking nursery right across from our future home while in Prague so we didn't have to think about it for too long to decided that Adri can start there M-F during the mornings. She will be able to speak-understand 3 languages by the time we leave to the next place. At least we hope she will be able to do it. So far she seems to understand pretty good both Czech and Spanish.

Today was the first day so Tata and Mom went together to see her start "school", everything was pretty good while we were there...once Tata left she was so so, still ok. But when I left she cried for a while. I stayed at the entrance and I could hear her crying here and then. At the end of the morning she managed to stay for almost two hours, one with us and the second hour was mostly crying. She got a hold of her teacher - A very sweet lady from India - and I think she thought "well, she looks like mom, let's get together like glue with her" because even thought she kept crying most of the time she would no let her go at all....

By the time I got her she was crying non stop and all she wanted to do it to go...so she sent kisses and "ojitos" to her teacher and even gave her a smile!!!! And of course once we were walking out, she saw the playground and didn't want to go out anymore...

Tomorrow will try again for another hour or so until she gets used to the place. Also, I won't stay in the area so we won't see me and make things more difficult.

Looking forward to see how is going to be at the end of the week.

For me was also new day because I got to drive inside the town from the hotel to the school and back on my own. It was nice and relatively easy once I knew the streets and wrote down my instructions...Adri was so tired from all the crying that she fall sleep in the car and didn't wake up until noon.
