Travelling across the ocean

We landed on time in NYC and rush thru dinner and some play time for Adri who seemed to be teething big time – her red t-shirt was wet all over her chest and she would not take her hand of her mouth…she also was in a “catch me if you can” mode that made it difficult to stay sit in one place.

At boarding time, we got a surprise; we were upgrade to business class! Yes! The 3 of us J

The rest was a pleasant flight, with enough space for Adri to play without getting upset, dinner with real forks and knives, ice cream for dessert and lots of US shows to watch on my personal tv while Adri was sleeping comfortably in her seat.

We are now in Prague and looking for a place to move as soon as our shipment arrives. The apartment we are staying right now is a hotel with long term rooms, pretty comfortable and lots of space for us considering is a hotel. Adri still sleeps between us but that’s ok so far. The living room area is big for us so she can play and be her without feeling trapped. We are also pretty close to a mall – one block! With an indoor playground that Adri already tried out and a super market that mom already managed to shop alone J

Today Adri stayed with her babi the entire day and she cried a lot while we were here with her, she knew we were leaving, but we decided that she needed to go out before us and that was the best idea of the day. She went to the mall, ate there, played there and got back to the hotel for a long nap. She was so happy to see us today after so many hours that run to me and sat on my lap. She was also very appreciative towards her babi, even went to the door and leaned out to wave good bye many times!

Next? Hopefully our new home pictures…
